About Vmeste RF

Hello, dear friends and welcome to the Vmeste-RF TV channel! This is the official broadcasting channel of the Federation Council, the upper house of the Russian Parliament.
My name is Vladimir. Please allow me a moment to briefly introduce our mission.
First, the main goal of the channel is to inform the viewers about the work of the Senate. It provides the opportunity to watch, directly from the source, uninterrupted coverage of the law-making process whenever the House is in session, of parliamentary committees as well as special parliamentary events. We present news and current affairs programs.
Second, the Federation Council represents the interests of various regions of our vast country. That is why we dedicate considerable amount of airtime to cover issues of nature, people, science, sights and history of Russia.
Dozens of documentary and educational TV programs are aired on our channel. And we want you to be able to see Russia through our eyes too. To do this, we have launched our new product – English language TV programs. We hope that these little puzzle pieces will help you better understand what our country really looks like.
