Prioksko-Terrasny Reserve
The Prioksko-Terrasny Nature Reserve is one of the smallest in Russia. It occupies an area of just under five thousand hectares on the left bank of the Oka, in the Serpukhov district of the Moscow region. The reserve received its name because of the complex terrain: the descent to the river is in the form of huge steps — terraces, so that the difference in heights in the territory reaches 76 meters.
