Prioksko-Terrasny Reserve

The Prioksko-Terrasny Nature Reserve is one of the smallest in Russia. It occupies an area of ​​just under five thousand hectares on the left bank of the Oka, in the Serpukhov district of the Moscow region. The reserve received its name because of the complex terrain: the descent to the river is in the form of huge steps — terraces, so that the difference in heights in the territory reaches 76 meters.
